How Ciphire works
Ciphire lists cybersecurity and GRC jobs that employers publish on their own applicant tracking systems (ATS). We don't take reposts, staffing-agency spam or scraped LinkedIn listings.
Sources
Every day we read the public job-board APIs of about 17,281 employer boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee and Workable. These are the official feeds the ATS vendors publish for job sites. Jobs are kept if the title is a security, GRC, privacy or security-risk role.
Freshness and removal
- Boards with security roles are re-read every day. Other boards are re-read at least weekly so new security hiring shows up fast.
- A job that's missing from its employer's board on the next read is closed immediately. Its page switches to "no longer available" (not indexed) and is deleted after 30 days.
- The "Apply" button always goes to the employer's own posting.
Salaries
A salary appears only when the employer published one, either as a structured pay range in the ATS or as a range in the job description (US pay-transparency laws make this common). We never estimate salaries.
Alerts without email
Every role, remote and country page has an Atom/RSS feed that works in any feed reader. Feed readers like Feedly or Inoreader can forward feeds to email, Slack or Discord. The site also marks jobs that are new since your last visit.
Employers
Your jobs are listed automatically if you use a supported ATS and the role is security-related. To have a posting removed, close it in your ATS and it disappears here within a day.
